Cebu Marathon 2025
The highly anticipated AIA Cebu Marathon 2025 is set to take place on January 12, 2025. This annual marathon, established in 2008, has become a key event for both local and international runners. The race offers an opportunity for participants to experience the vibrant streets of Cebu City while showcasing endurance and determination. Known for its world-class organization, the Cebu Marathon is an event that celebrates community spirit and encourages a healthy, active lifestyle.
Thousands of runners are expected to participate in the event, which includes four race categories: 6K, 12K, 25K, and 42K. Finishers in the 42K and 25K races will be rewarded with exclusive finisher’s medals, shirts, and towels. The Cebu Marathon continues to grow each year, with the 2025 edition aiming to attract 10,000 runners. Participants can enjoy the scenic race route, which features landmarks like the Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), the longest bridge in the Philippines.
Event Distances
The Cebu Marathon 2025 offers four race categories to accommodate runners of different levels and goals:
- 6K Fun Run
- 12K Race
- 25K Extended Half Marathon
- 42K Full Marathon
Each distance provides a unique challenge, with the longer routes designed for experienced runners and the shorter races catering to beginners and casual participants.
Registration Fees
The event offers an Early Bird registration period with discounted fees until September 30, 2024. After that, regular rates will apply until November 15, 2024. Here are the registration fees for each distance:
- 42K: Php 2,499 (Early Bird) | Php 2,999 (Regular)
- 25K: Php 2,299 (Early Bird) | Php 2,799 (Regular)
- 12K: Php 1,199 (Early Bird) | Php 1,499 (Regular)
- 6K: Php 1,199 (Early Bird) | Php 1,499 (Regular)
Race Kit Inclusion
Each participant will receive a race kit that varies by distance:
- 42K and 25K Finishers: Race singlet, finisher’s medal, finisher’s shirt, and event towel.
- 12K and 6K Finishers: Race singlet and finisher’s shirt.
Race kits will be available for collection from January 9 to 11, 2025, ensuring runners are fully equipped for race day.
