IE8 Run at the Fort

Microsoft is lauching its new internet browser - Internet Explorer 8 - with a race. The event will have a 2miles, 4 miles and 8 miles race category at The Fort. Plus, runners get a chance to win a laptop and other raffle prizes. More details will be available soon.

Unfortunately, there are now 5 races scheduled on May 24. Five! That's the most number of races in one Sunday so far.

5 races on may 24? why not spread it out in june so each race will be well-organized and well-attended? afraid of the rain? i hope not because the rain will separate the men from the boys. real men run in any weather conditions, right?

will not be joining this race for sure kasi registered na kami for the TNF100. it would have been cool though. :)

im just wondering why this race is under the english system (miles) when the philippines is using the metric system (kilometers)? is it because microsoft is an american company and the united states is using the english system? it seems they forgot the cliche "when in rome, do what the romans do."

kulang pa cguro number of races. gawin nila mga 20 or more, para manalo ung non-elite runners. Haha

learned that the date was moved to 31 May....as per advise from the Event Organizer Mr. Nikko Tiongson....sayang...can't be joining this since I will be away na naman..hmmm,,
