Here is the first trail run for the month.  Who will be the King and Queen of the Mountain?

King of the Mountain

King of the Mountain 10K
June 13, 2009
Timberland Heights, San Mateo, Rizal

Previously, the KOM is a MTB Challenge but this year, they are adding a trail run.  The trail is best for beginners so you might want to try your first trail run here.

Registration fee is 300 which includes a singlet and food.   No cash price, but they will be giving away, Suunto Watches, Polar Water Bottles, Halo Headband, Spyder Sunglasses, plus more.

This trail run is organized by Elite Multi-Sport Resources.  They are the same people who hosted the Nissan Navara puSUiT, AutoReview Run, 2008 Men's Health Urbanathon and the Isuzu Shake Rattle and Run.

Registration is at All Terra, Bike King, Second Wind and ROX.

Checkout some pics from the race route.   Photos by Second Wind

First time ko mag join ng trail run, any suggestions what to bring, what to wear, etc.?

Hi carmen...I suggest you wear leggings(tights) protection for legs ,before wearing your shorts...tapos maganda sana kung makabili kung ng arm sleeves similar to that being used by bike riders..protection sa arms.tapos yung shoes better kung trail running para may kapit sa lupa..
