Updates for Adidas King of the Road 2009

Are you ready for Adidas KOTR 2009? This is one of the big races in Manila that is being anticipated by many runners. One thing I liked about this race, and i know most if not all will agree, is the good quality and design of the singlet. This year it will be a yellow one. You can check previous post here on the Adidas King of the Road 2009 singlet.

We haven't received the official announcement yet, but here are the details from their facebook account.

Adidas King of the Road (KOTR) 2009
October 25, 2009
Bonifacio High Street, Global City

Adidas King of the Road registration forms will be available on September 21, 2009 in participating adidas stores. You can register for King of the Road starting September 21, 2009 in participating adidas stores: adidas Greenbelt3, Trinoma, Megamall, Podium, Rockwell, Mall of Asia, Katipunan, RUNNR in Bonifacio High Street, and in Planet Sports: Rockwell, Greenhills, Glorietta, & Trinoma.

The Adidas KOTR singlet will be given upon registration. Also, when you present you registration form in any participating Adidas stores, as much as 25% off will be given for your purchase of running top and bottom and shoes.

And on October 18, there will be an Adidas Running Expo, exclusive to all King of the Road participants. Race bibs will be distributed on the same day. There will be a free carbo-loading event for all participants. Looks like this will be a nice party for runners.

WOW! Ang daming perks and privileges. Sana ganito rin yung ibang shoe brand pag nagpaRUN. Calling NIKE, MIZUNO, NB, NEWTONS, ASICS follow the lead set by ADIDAS.

Hats off to Adidas. They seem to raise the bar every year! Hopefully, they'd also use disposable timing chips.

woohoo! i've waited for this update for sooo long! sounds very exciting!! wish they had a timing chip like Globe and Kenny.. that would've made it PERFECT!

I am looking forward to getting the singlet and eating at the free carbo-loading party. Too bad I will miss the race itself as I will be in Subic. Oh well, I guess one can't have everything.

I will register to get the Adidas singlet and discount, but i will run the 21K at Subic. Races in other destinations only come once in a while, so would rather race in a new place =)

Count me in! Pero may details na ba dun a Expo? Howcome biglang hindi na makukuha yung singlet upon reg? Force to go kapa tuloy sa Expo. Anyway, mukha naman exciting yung expo lalo na yung free carbo load!!! :)
