I have been often asked on how many Filipino running blogs are there and which blog is the most visited. My answer is "many". I have lost count in the number of runners who have blogs. When Takbo.ph started in 2008, I was reading about 20+ blogs and share them at the website. It was easy to monitor and reply with a comment in each post before.
I do recommend that a runner keeps a blog or a journal. There is
even one runner who passed around a slumbook last December after the
Rizal Day Run. At least, have a place where you keep track of how many kilometers you have been running. Add some details like how the run was, what shoes you were wearing, etc.
Today, there are so many runners who maintains a blog. At the same time, there are many who stopped blogging too. I just hope they are still running though. So, how many blogs are there and what are their ratings? Read more to find out.
Currently, there are 185 blogs in my list. Hard to believe? I even thought it was about a hundred only. Well, some of them are already
inactive but I just keep them in my list. I would receive emails asking me
to add them and after a few months, there is no more update.
It is hard to maintain a blog. It takes time. And it is also
discouraging to maintain it if no one reads or makes a comment. But I
suggest, keep a blog for yourself. It is just as rewarding. I also
apologize if I don't leave a comment as much as I do. Or read through
the details of your blog. And to the readers, a simple comment can go a long way to inspire us to share more.
And who's blog is visited the most?

If your blog isn't in the list. Don't be sad. This is updated daily and changes very fast since it is ranked against other websites in the world. You are ranked with Google, Facebook, and Youtube which are the top 3 in the Alexa Rank. If you check it again in a week, the rankings will change dramatically.
Even Takbo.ph will move down to 500,000 at times. But I am hoping to reach the top 300,000 mark this year or even the top 1,000 mark in PH. It will mean that more and more people are running in the Philippines. I'd be happy to see that.
