100KM Training Plan for Virtual Runs

Here’s a sample training plan if you aim to complete 100KM in one month.

The 100KM target distance is ideal for runners who are used to running 10KMs already. This training plan lets you run 10Ks during weekends and 6Ks and 8Ks during weekdays.

The 100KM target distance is popular among our virtual runners. Majority who signs up choose this distance as their goal for the month.

The training plan above is just an ideal case. No runner has exactly followed it. Below are actual run submissions from real runners who have joined the 100KM virtual run in the past.

This runner usually runs 3x a week to meet the target distance of 100K. Most runs are just between 6-10Ks with enough rest days between runs.

This runner can do longer distances during weekends. The higher mileage allowed the runner to complete the 100KM target in just 24 days. This is also a good training plan for those who are preparing for half marathon events.
